Creating A FTP Account

Step 1: First log into you cPanel, the address will be http://yourdomain/cpanel . Once logged in click FTP Manager.



Step 2: Now click FTP accounts.



Step 3: Now click Add FTP Account.



Step 4: Enter you details, make sure the directory is correct as cPanel will automatically put your username as the directory.


Where it says quota is just how much space they will have to upload.

Step 5: Click Create and you will be then taken to a page that says something like:
FTP Account Added!
The FTP account david with password deaddrop was added. and a quota of unlimited megs (0 or blank is unlimited).
Syncing Ftp Databases....Done

Step 6: Click Go Back and your new FTP account should appear in the list

Step 7: You can send the information to your hostee now or write it down so you remember. The details will be like so:
FTP Address: ftp.yourdomain.com
UserName: name@yourdomain.com
PassWord: password
