Rounded Corners


This are the picture I'm going to use


Step 1- Get your image you are going to use (mine is the one above).

Step 2- Select the rounded rectangle tool and set the radius to about 7-10



Step 3- Now select where the rounded corners will go



Step 4- Go to Paths and then Load path as a selection.



Picture will now look like this



Step 5- Now go to Select > Inverse (Ctrl+Alt+I). It Should now look like this, then delete the section



Step 6- Now go to Select > Inverse (Ctrl+Alt+I) again and go to Edit > Stoke and chose the colour and width (I normally choose black and 1px)



Step 6- The edges will look unclean so get the pencil tool and set it to 1px and using the same colour as your border fix the edges (note I put a black background so you can see the unclean bits better).



It should look like this without the black background.





Step 7- When you have finished clean all four corners save the image as a .gif by going to File > Save for Web > then ok. If everything is done right it should look something like this
